Remembering WWII Heroes
Much stained glass work is dedicated to the memory of a person or group. Such projects may be lengthy. Due to an increasein the number of windows desired the studio worked for fully 15 yearswith veterans of the 8th Air Force's World War II bombing campaqign against Germany to create windows for a chapel adjoining the Mighty 8th Museum at Pooler, GA.

Depicting bombers, fighters and airmen as well as Moses and Jesus, the Mighty 8th chapel windows are proof stained glass can remain relevant in the modern world.
The Mighty 8th windows bring a whole tradition of craft to bear on the rememberance of modern heroes. The magical qualities of stained glass can still bel appreciated today.
