Jon's Vision: Non-commissioned Glass Pieces
Work Jon has done on his own (without commission) has included a demon from Dante’s Inferno as well as the disturbing face of Charon, the mythological boatman running the ferry to Hades. His subject matter and methods in these works continue Jon's marriage of the traditional, even classical, and the modern in his work. |
Jon hopes that his treatment of unusual themes will help widen the appeal of stained glass as a contemporary art form.
Continued experimentation has marked Jon's career as both a student and practitioner of the art of stained glass. He is always willing to accept new challenges to the boundaries of expression in glass. More Windows |
